Low Energy
Low Energy
Low energy or fatigue is such a common issue in women between 40-65. At a time of life when you need all the energy you can muster, it can feel like someone has ‘pulled your plug out of the socket’. Unfortunately, many of us battle on, however you will be relieved to hear that there is so much you can do to regain your spark so that you can meet life’s challenges head on.
There are multiple possible root causes of low energy and fatigue which may include:
- Your diet isn’t optimised for your stage in life
- Your blood sugars aren’t being well managed
- You may have vitamin and mineral deficiencies or a higher need for certain nutrients
- You’re experiencing hormone shifts, especially if you’re in perimenopause
- Your thyroid isn’t working optimally
- You’re not sleeping well
- You’re experiencing a lot of stress and don’t know how to tackle it
- You have an underlying health issue that’s not being addressed
- Your gut isn’t working well, so you’re either uncomfortable or not digesting or absorbing your nutrients well
- You have food sensitivities
- You’re not moving or exercising well – maybe you’re not doing enough, or you’re doing too much?
- Or maybe several of the above, or something else!
How We Can Help You
We really do understand how overwhelming this can feel.
We help by carrying out a 360-degree review of your health, so we are helping you as a whole. We zoom out to consider how your health history, genetics, diet and lifestyle, and any lurking imbalances might be impacting on your energy levels.
We then work with you to create a personalised plan that feels straight forward, not at all overwhelming, and directly addresses your symptoms. Your plan will include customised nutrition and lifestyle changes, and nutritional supplements where appropriate, so you can be assured that your health needs are being understood.
If we feel that testing could help us pinpoint underlying imbalances and root causes, we’ll recommend that too. We also have a team of Expert Partners to help in other areas such as mental and physical health.
