At The Prior Clinic our roots are in Nutritional Therapy and Alexis has been a Registered Nutritional Therapist and Health Coach since 2012.
Nutritional therapy is an evidence-informed approach to nutrition and lifestyle medicine. We seek to identify and address the underlying causes of ill health, rather than just treating symptoms. Most importantly, we listen without judgement to your unique health and life story so we can understand how best to advise you.
Our approach is tailored to you as an individual, because your health and symptoms can result from a number of totally unique factors such as your health and life history, genetics, nutrition, lifestyle practices, and even your exposure to toxins.

You will receive a 360-degree customised care plan with support. Your recommendations will be clear and simple to follow and come with practical advice to help you easily make lasting changes. These may include recipes, food lists and evidence-informed recommendations around eating practices, exercise, sleep and stress management to suit your unique needs.
We may also include powerful coaching exercises to help you overcome any barriers to being the healthiest version of yourself.
We follow the functional medicine approach and use a wide range of tools to identify imbalances that might be contributing to your health issues and these include a 360-degree review of your past and current health, diet and lifestyle, plus the use of functional laboratory testing where we feel it will help direct our recommendations in a more specific way.
With our foundations in nutritional therapy, we do not diagnose disease, but we do promote optimum health. And we work alongside other healthcare professionals in supporting you with your health concerns.
